I also love technology. Except for the first three years as a music teacher, I've spent my whole professional career helping organizations with it. Here's how a camp kid ended up here:

32 years ago

I went to camp for the first time — a weeklong residential camp. I never left. Camper, seasonal staffer, program director, lifeguard, kitchen worker, counselor, board member. The camp world became my world.

10 years ago

I took a role in technology and operations — implementing, integrating, and securing platforms for an organization with over 300 staff. I found I had a gift for making complex systems simple.

1 year ago

I quit my full-time job to help camps with technology. A few camps showed me they were hungry for more — they just lacked the bandwidth. With a little help, they took off. So I created Camp IT Pros.
